SAFEGUARDING
At HKRC, safeguarding is at the forefront of everything we do, looking after our people and keeping our community a place where everyone feels welcome, safe, and supported. We want every driver, family member, volunteer, and visitor to enjoy our sport with confidence, knowing that their wellbeing comes first.
To us safeguarding means protecting everyone involved (especially children and adults at risk) from harm, while also making sure there’s a clear, trusted way to speak up if something doesn’t feel right. By working together and looking out for one another, we can continue to build a positive, inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy karting to the fullest.
Our Club Safeguarding Officer is Jamie Roe, who is on hand at all HKRC events and is always available to talk, whether at the circuit or away from race weekends. If you have any concerns or would like to speak in confidence, you can contact Jamie by email at jamie@hkrc.co.uk or by phone on 07766294717. Alternatively, you can contact the Motorsport UK Safeguarding Team directly at safeguarding@motorsportuk.org.
