Do you do ARKS testing?2022-11-22T09:55:59+00:00

We DO complete ARKS tests. For more details look at our ARKS testing page HERE.

As a club we do not carry out ARKS testing, however our affiliated traders do. Please contact the Club and we can direct you to an official ARKS tester.

If you’re just interested in starting karting, Visit the ARKS website by clicking here for more information before contacting our traders as they will only point you back unless you’ve read this information and applied for your ARKS pack.

How do I start Karting?2022-11-17T10:40:08+00:00

If you’re interested in starting karting visit the Motorsport UK website.

My Club/Organisation would like to use your track…2022-11-17T10:38:53+00:00

As much as we’d like to utilise the facilities for varying activities, due to planning restrictions the track is only available on the second weekend of every month when the race meetings are held.

Even if you’re not planning on being noisy or run long days we are unable to use the track. This is something we are continually working on and hope that sometime in the future this will be possible.

Me and a friend have a kart and we want a go, can we use your track?2022-11-17T10:38:10+00:00

You are welcome to practice on the 2nd weekend of the month, but not race as long as there is space on the grid. Racers booked in for that weekend will take precedence. You must have an MSUK license and your kart should conform to current MSUK standards and be able to pass scrutineering.

For safety reasons we cannot allow “anyone” onto the circuit with their vehicles.

If you’re interested in starting karting, check the Motorsportuk.org website for more information.

Is the circuit open for me to test?2022-11-17T10:36:25+00:00

Due to planning restrictions, the track is only open on the second weekend of every month, when the race meetings are held. A full list of dates can be seen on the Club Events page.

You are welcome to practice on the Saturday and not race, as long as there is space on the grid. Racers booked in for that weekend will take precedence. You must have a valid MSUK licence and your kart should conform to current MSUK standards and be able to pass scrutineering.

Three day events may be entrant-only testing, so please check before arrival.

I’ve booked and paid for this entry, but I can’t make it, can I defer it to the next meeting?2022-11-17T10:30:46+00:00

No, we will refund you the entry fee and you can re-enter the next meeting.

My MSUK licence hasn’t arrived yet, can I still enter?2022-11-17T10:11:43+00:00

You will need to contact the MSUK and ask for them to supply you with a covering letter, this will then need to be approved by the MSUK steward on the day. There is likely to be a cost for the letter if your application was delayed or if you did not leave sufficient time for the application to be processed and sent.

Turning up with your previous years licence alone will not be acceptable as it has expired, and therefore you are not licenced to race or covered by our insurance. This may result in you not being able to race.

The confirmation of “licence sent” or “application received” e-mails/letters are also not sufficient. You must have either a valid MSUK licence or a valid covering letter.

If you have a licence from the previous year then please bring this with you so we can at least verify you have raced before, but this will not be sufficient for you to race with.

Entry has closed for the next round, can I still enter?2022-11-17T10:05:13+00:00

Closing date for race entries is the SIX days before the race meeting. Grids will be formed on this date and classes combined where necessary.

Entries received after this date may be returned. If accepted, late entries will be subject to a £30 late entry fee without exception.

The competition secretary reserves the right to refuse entry without reason if the entry arrives after the cut-off date. It is YOUR responsibility to enter before the closing date.

Do you cater for Birthday, Stag or Hen parties?2022-11-17T10:00:58+00:00

As we are NOT a corporate circuit, we do not have the facilities to accommodate ‘arrive and drive’ customers and therefore are unable to offer this service. The nearest kart circuits to the Kimbolton area that may be able to help you are:

Red Lodge Karting

Wild Tracks
